The ventilation branch fitting of Valsir® has been established as the ideal solution for waste systems in high-rise buildings where height and demanding coefficient of simultaneous usage in hygiene products is of vital design importance. The product configuration guarantees the excellent ventilation of the vertical drainage column and the horizontal drainage pipes on each floor of the building as an aftermath. Furthermore, it reduces sewage flow rates, eliminate any problems regarding flow mixing between floors and balances pressure fluctuations within the system that are known to develop problems to the operation of traps. Besides the above merits mentioned, the integration of the VBF in building waste systems provides important benefits towards installation cost savings. The justification emerges as the waste system can be constructed with only one vertical drainage column - no requirement for separate ventilation column. This design consequently provides much higher stack loads (over twice in magnitude) in relation to conventional waste systems with single columns. Valsir® has the capability to provide the VBF components with the established and excellent soundproofing characteristics of Triplus® and Silere®.
