Expanded polystyrene strips which are used: as peripheral joint (alternatively to the peripheral expansion foam) between the vertical walls and the concrete to prevent expansion/ contraction as the concrete is enlarged and as a soundproof material as a barrier to walking sound from floor to walls. Length: 125 cm Width: 15 cm Thickness: 1 cm as an expansion joint which is placed on predefined points according of the underfloor heating study and under the doors of the building to accommodate the contractions and expansions of concrete.
