AIR & MICRO BUBBLE SEPARATOR

General
Exvoid is an air and micro bubble separator for closed heating and cooling system circuits. Versions for closed solar thermal systems are available – Exvoid S, while the extensive range of the product line facilitates the air separation from circuits with flow rates up to 3,060m3/h.

Operation
As the fluid flow passes through the Exvoid, the micro bubbles contained within the fluid enter the larger cross section housing which causes a natural flow speed reduction. Inside the Exvoid housing, there is a special wire mesh which excites the air bubbles to move in indeterminate directions. Therefore, most of the gas bubbles experience a natural settling and reach the flowpac mesh tube upper part of the unit from which they are discharged out of the system through the upper vent of the Exvoid.

  • Exvoid T brass with vertical threaded connection ½’’, 10 bar, 110oC
  • Exvoid T S brass with vertical threaded connection ½’’, 10 bar, 180oC
Models with larger cross-sections (DN50-DN600), unique connection types, installation positions and properties are available upon request.
